Crosstown Massacre Set for December 10th

Last season, the University of Cincinnati came out and showed Xavier what its like to play in the Big East. Too big, too strong, too fast and too deep… the Bearcats throttled the Musketeers 66-46 at the Fifth Third Arena.
Tu Holloway came into the matchup averaging 21.3 points per game but by the end of the night he had managed only 5 points on 2 of 13 shooting. The Bearcats defense harassed him so much, he earned a frustration technical for throwing a blatant elbow.
This year, the annual Crosstown Shootout is set for December the 10th at the Cintas Center on Xavier University’s Campus. The difference between this year and last? Absolutely nothing. UC brings back 4 starters and with the growth of Sean Kilpatrick to go along with a deep incoming freshman class… Xavier better pray for a miracle. This game could be ugly by halftime.
