Former University of Cincinnati Bearcat great, Terry “The Flop” Nelson, opened up his basketball camp today that runs until July 14th.  From 9am until 3pm at the Nothin’ But Net Sports Complex in Eastgate, campers can come and receive excellent instruction from one of the best defenders in college basketball history.

Playing an undersized forward, Terry helped lead the Cincinnati Bearcats to its last appearance in the Final Four with a tenacious pressure defense that full court pressed opponents from opening tip until the final horn.

Here are some of the highlights from their historic run…

One of the greatest memories I have of this team was that they beat their rival, the Penny Hardaway led Memphis Tigers, not once, not twice, not even three times but four times in the same season!  Twice in the regular season, in the conference finals and then to put icing on the cake, knocked them out of the NCAA Tournament in the Elite Eight.

If you are looking for some great instruction from a man who has influenced my life both on and off the court, then I highly suggest visiting the Terry Nelson Basketball Camp.  You will not be disappointed, I guarantee it.
