Once A Bearcat, Always A Bearcat
Great read here on senior middle linebacker J.K. Schaffer and his journey through LaSalle high school, his recruiting, and ultimately becoming the Bearcats defensive captain. While he wasn’t highly recruited in high school the Bearcats got a good one who will go down as one of team’s best linebackers and a phenomenal representative of both the univeristy and the city of Cincinnati.
Orion Woodard doesn’t get the most reps on offense or tons of yards and touchdowns, but Woodard’s leadership is invaluable to this team. He’s teaching the younger players how to be all around players and contribute whereever the coaches put him. Woodard is also great special teams player and makes that entire unit better.
