Mardy Gilyard, A Human Highlight In Every Sense Of The Phrase

Great write up here by Matt and Down the Drive on one of the most influential and inspirational players in UC Bearcats history. He has his string of mistakes growing up (who hasn’t) but bounced back in a way that outdoes most traditional rags-to-riches stories. He’s a great respresentative of this university.

The Bearcats Receivers Are Inconsistent, And I Have The Numbers To Prove It

It’s no mystery to anyone that Cincinnati’s receivers haven’t dominated secondaries this season as they have in recent years. It doesn’t help that the starting trio of D.J. Woods, Anthony McClung, and Kenbrell Thompkins are catching the ball about 60% of the time they are targeted. The passing game needs to improve as the Bearcats can’t lean on Isaiah Pead through the meat of the Big East schedule coming up.
