Cincinnati Survives My Wardrobe Gaff, Moves to 7 – 1

My bad, guys. In my haste in packing for my trip to Kalamazoo, Michigan I inadvertently forgot to grab my red Cincinnati Bearcats shirt in which the team is 6 – 0 when I wear it (as you know). I nearly failed the players, coaches, Bearcats fans everywhere, and America. Thankfully UC would not be denied as the defense bailed me out, holding Pittsburgh to a single touchdown in the second half. I absolutely love this defense. Bringing little pressure in the first half, they never said die and worked the Panthers’ offensive line as the game wore to a close. Tino Sunseri better get the ice packs ready because he ROCKED near the end of this game. John Hughes and Derek Wolfe can be thanked for that. These Bearcats are no where near perfect, but they get things done and win despite not playing their best game. That’s what great, professional teams do. More on the game tomorrow. I need a few hours to digest this win.
