The Bearcats have gotten heroic performances from quite a few of their players over the past two games. Dion Dixon went nuts against Seton Hall, Yancy Gates dominated against Louisville earning another double-double, and Justin Jackson provided an energy off the bench that jump started Cincinnati’s offense last night. This was a tough decision. But Cash was the only guy against the Cardinals who was a consistent threat to score from beyond the arc. He shot 46% from beyond the arc tallying a career-high 6 threes. Cash even played on a bum ankle most of the second half and still drove hard to the lane. He finished with 22 points to go along with his 13 from the Seton Hall game.

It goes without saying that the play of Cincinnati’s starting point guard will be critical down the stretch. This is a point guard-driven league and Cash will be leaned upon to ensure the Bearcats’ offense is running smoothly.
