Opening Night is only overshadowed by Opening Day but still is a great event to take in. Members of the UC football team were able to participate in their own way:

Tentman: Recapturing the dream
Just a phenomenal piece Paul Dehner released over the weekend about starting middle linebacker Solomon Tentman. As you know, I’ve always been one of his biggest fans and was disappointed when injured his knee in the fall camp of 2010. But what was especially shocking was the extent of his injury. Tentman tore just about every ligament in his left knee. The fact that he’s walking let alone playing Division 1 college football right now is a minor miracle. It also speaks to his toughness and why he’s going to be a star at Cincinnati.
A really solid piece about Trenier Orr who should be competing for a starting position this fall. Ultimately, pending injuries, I think the starters will be Deven Drane and Camerron Cheatham but Orr is going to be pushing them hard. The fact that he is running with the 1st team right now while Drane is rehabbing shows how beyond his age Orr truly is.
