The 8-2 Bearcats face the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders this afternoon at 2 pm on ESPN3. Here’s a quick preview of UC’s next visitor at Fifth Third Arena but below are some others you should peruse.

Cincinnati vs Middle Tennessee State Preview

"When the ball goes inside to Hunter or Jones, it doesn’t come out. They have the two highest usage rates on the team. They have 26 combined assists. That’s not really good. They are the best players on the team, so it’s not like it’s a bad thing."

MT heads to Queen City to take on Bearcats

"Kermit Davis is 0-1 against Cincinnati as MT dropped an 89-54 decision to the Bearcats Dec. 20, 2003. Heading in to the 2003 contest, Cincinnati was ranked No. 16/16."

Preview: Middle Tennessee State at Cincinnati

"Jones has averaged 17 points on 78.9 percent shooting in his last four games and leads the Blue Raiders with 7.9 rebounds. Neiko Hunter adds 13.3 points and 4.8 rebounds and Twetty Knight leads the team with 53 assists and 22 steals. Kerry Hammonds (11.4 points) missed Tuesday’s win against Tennessee Temple with an ankle injury and is questionable."

UC Returns Home to Battle Middle Tennessee

"The Blue Raiders are one of seven teams on UC’s schedule this season that played in the 2013 NCAA tournament. Middle Tennessee registered a 28-6 record a year ago making its first NCAA tournament since 1989 before losing to Saint Mary’s (Calif.) 67-54 in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio."
