Several former Bearcats were participating in the NFL playoffs this past weekend. Some fared better than others.

Ricardo Mathews: Indianapolis posted a miraculous comeback against the Kansas City Chiefs in the wildcard round, coming back from 31-10 at halftime to win 45-44. Ricardo Mathews contributed a pair of tackles to the Colts’ cause.

Brent Celek: Yikes. As well as the Eagles’ have played of late, they just couldn’t hold off the Saints at home on Saturday. Celek notched two catches on three targets for 16 yards.

Trent Cole: The guy did his best to single-handedly slow down the New Orleans’ offensive machine. Cole sacked Drew Brees once to go along with his five tackles and pass knocked down but it wasn’t enough.

Connor Barwin: Like Cole, he too had a pretty good game. Barwin ended his season with a four tackle performance against the Saints in addition to a pass he knocked down.
