UC takes on South Florida tonight. Cincy on the Prowl has already gotten up to speed with a preview of this game but here are some more for you to peruse for tonight.

Cincinnati Travels to play USF on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET

"USF (10-7, 1-3 American) lost for the first time this season on the road on Wednesday, dropping a 71-54 decision at SMU. Zach LeDay led the Bulls with 12 points and six rebounds off the bench. Chris Perry added 10 points."

The Layup Line: South Florida

"I think the X-factor on Saturday will be 6’8″ freshman forward, Chris Perry. Like many freshman, he’s shown a few flashes on the court while also disappearing at times. He went for 10 points & 5 boards in 11 minutes of play one night, and he’s scored 0 points & recorded just 1 rebound in 13 minutes on another night. He’s been in-and-out of the starting lineup, and I’m not sure what to expect from him on a given night – hence, the X-factor."

Cincinnati Bearcats vs South Florida Bulls Preview

"Yet, I’m a little worried about this game. South Florida has typically played a very slow down style against Cincinnati with great benefit. UC needed overtime to beat the Bulls on Senior Day last year. The last time they played in Tampa, USF beat UC with a late layup. UC has owned USF overall, but the games in Tampa have been competitive. Winning on the road is very, very hard."

American Inventions – Game 5, Cincinnati

"For each game this basketball season, we’re highlighting an invention from each city in the American Athletic Conference. So far we’ve seen Federal Express, the Astrodome, the Liberty Bell, and the Neiman-Marcus catalog. Today, we highlight an invention from Cincinnati — one that might surprise you."
