The Bearcats and Owls hook up for the second time this afternoon at 4 pm. These primers should help you prep for the game.

Cincinnati Bearcats vs Temple Owls Preview

"Since we’ve last seen the Temple Owls, Temple has yet to win a game. They lost to LaSalle and were crushed by Connecticut. This is a game that Cincinnati should win comfortably on Sunday afternoon. Temple is bad. Winning on the road, even against bad teams, is very hard to do. We saw this last weekend when UC had to fight out a win at USF, who was then murder killed at home. Playing another close game against Temple after the Owls were smashed by UConn would raise some questions about how close to the upper crust this Bearcats team was. Let’s cross that bridge if there is no beating first."

"The Owls’ top four scorers, who have accounted for 82 percent of the team’s points this season, produced just 26 percent of last year’s total points."

The Layup Line: Temple, Again

"I’m having the hardest time reconciling my head and my gut, here. My head says this one should be a breeze, and the ‘Cats win by 6 or 7. But my gut says the Bearcats find trouble in Philly. They have rebounding issues, and with Louisville this coming week, I’m afraid the Bearcats are looking ahead. I’m gonna go with my gut, folks – as crazy as it sounds. Owls in a shocker: 63-59"
