So SMU pretty much laid the stinkiest of stinkers last night against Louisville, dropping their first home game of the season 84-71. As such the Cardinals have a half-game lead in the AAC standings with Cincinnati playing catch up. Tonight now transitions from an “Okay, it would be great if they could win this game” to “IF THEY DON’T WIN, THIS BASKETBALL SEASON HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE LIE”.
