This past weekend several thousand University of Cincinnati students received their hard earned diplomas. Included in that overjoyed group were some UC football players. Some, like Jeff Luc and Camaron Beard, earned their undergraduate degrees and will return for their final season in red and black in a few months. Others, like Blake Annen, will be going out into the world to prove what the last several years taught him and hopefully be generously compensated for it. Whether that be as a pencil-pushing Joe Schmo like you and me or as a highly paid athlete in the NFL remains to be seen. Regardless of what awaits them on the immediate horizon, there are few things more valuable than the degrees these ‘Cats now have in hand.
