Jerry Palm’s Bowl Predictions Have Cincinnati In Peach Bowl (Access Bowl) Against South Carolina

Elijah Stewart Will Visit USC This Weekend

Its good that Stewart made his visit to Stillwater without committing. Its less good that he is taking another visit, presumably his final one, this coming weekend. The University Park campus was the first place that Stewart visited after being released from his LOI to Marymount and will be the final place that he visits before he is expected to sign. That could change in the week to come, but for now that is the going assumption. Thats not an accident, USC seems to be in a good spot with Stewart.

Woodall Breaks School Record at Last Chance Meet

Since the first outdoor meet of the season, Woodall had been sitting second behind Mary (Danner) Wineberg’s 400m record of 53.30 set in 2002. Her time puts her 19th in the NCAA East Preliminary.

“I’m really excited about the offer. It’s probably my biggest offer,” Theus said. “It doesn’t mean it’s my No. 1 school because I don’t rank them yet. It’s a big time offer for me.”

Joey Votto has MRI; has a strained quad – And exhale…

It turns out that after the MRI, Joey Votto has a strained quad and no damage to the knee. There is no decision on whether or not he will head to the disabled list at this point in time.

Johnny Cueto a thoroughly dominant force

With a little run support he could easily be 9-0 — he’s pitched at least seven innings each start and hasn’t allowed more than two runs in a game. His two “losses” were 2-1 and 1-0. He had another no-decision when he pitched eight scoreless innings. He’s the best — or at least the hottest — pitcher in baseball right now.
