Cincinnati Bearcats Football Picked To Finish 1st In AAC

In the 2014 preseason AAC football poll, the Cincinnati Bearcats have been picked to finish 1st in the conference, receiving 17 first place votes. It only took UC a name change from “Big East”, 12 teams leaving, and adding several Conference-USA schools for them to finally get the early recognition they deserve.

Of course, Bearcats fans know full well that preseason polls don’t really mean much. If so Cincinnati wouldn’t have finished 1st in the conference after being picked 3rd, 4th, and 5th twice before games were even played. In other words, these polls are just another means by which we can get ourselves excited during this long, arduous offseason. But it’s nice to see UC get tabbed as the hunted for once.
