Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Miami (FL) Hurricanes Will Kickoff At Noon

The kickoff time for the Cincinnati Bearcats’ game against the Miami (FL) Hurricanes on October 11th has been set for noon on the ACC Regional Sports Networks.

If you’re frantically scrolling through your channel guide to find this, save yourself the effort and stop looking because you won’t. The “ACC Regional Sports Networks” is a blanket term for the second tier networks that have partnered with the conference. ESPN and their slew of television options such as ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU are obviously in the first tier. The second is ESPN3, a regional Fox Sports Network affiliate, or Fox Sports 1.

So it’s one of those mediums where I’d expect this game to land. For those of you in the Cincinnati area, there’s a chance this will show up on Fox Sports Ohio, especially with the Reds’ season mercifully in the rear view mirror. The rest of us who don’t live in the region or southern Florida will probably have to hope this lands on Fox Sports 1 or ESPN3.

As far as the actual kickoff time is concerned, I don’t think it could have worked out any better for UC. The Hurricanes have a hard enough time convincing students and fans to travel to Sun Life Stadium as it is. That’s certainly the case when Miami is facing an unranked 2-1 Cincinnati team. A nooner basically ensures the crowd will be a non-factor for the Bearcats in this game. A sea of orange seats certainly won’t rattle Gunner Kiel and company, that is unless the echo from his audibles bouncing off those seats creates feedback in his helmet mic. I can totally see that happening.
