Bearcats BlogCast: We Got John Goebel To Talk To Us!

Scott King (@cardscott5) who writes for the associate/rival Cincinnati Bearcats site Bearcats Blog (@BearcatsBlog) and I have created a regular podcast that we do every week. We’ll try to stick to Tuesdays but we might have to go the occasional Thursday every now and then. Sorry to be so unpredictable but that just comes with the danger of the job.
Tonight’s episode headlines with former Bearcats running back John Goebel. “Former 70’s Pornstar”, as he henceforth will be known as, was half of one of Cincinnati’s most feared rushing batteries in the last decade. He and Jacob Ramsey rushed for over 1,200 yards and 9 touchdowns in 2008. Considering they were operating in Brian Kelly’s pass-happy offense, that’s quite an impressive feat. Since graduating from UC after the 2010 season, Goebel spent time in the Canadian Football League before settling down in Chicago with his wife (who he says is just lovely!).
I think I speak for Scott when I say that we were very fortunate that John joined us this evening.
