During The Cincinnati/Tulane matchup Shaq Washington made one of the best plays of the Bearcats year, h*ll might have made one of the best plays of the college football year in my opinion. Late in the 3rd quarter laid out a nice pass to the corner of the endzone for Shaq Washington and once the ball got close to Shaq that’s when the magic happened. Shaq hauled in the 18 pass for a touchdown with one hand, slid out of bounds and kept control. The catch was ultracool because it was controlled with his left hand, being a lefty that stood out to be, I’m not for sure if Shaq’s strong hand is his right, but I’m going to assume without research it is because that is the norm for strong hands in America.
This play was number two on SportsCenter top plays Friday night and this play put the nail in the coffin for Tulane as it put the Bearcats up 31-14. Washington had a career day in yards and catches last week and to follow it up with a solid performance is great for the Bearcats. Washington finished the night with 4 catches, 36 yards and a touchdown.
The Bearcats when on to win 38-14 and are currently on a 3 game winning streak. All seems to be right in Clifton as of right now and #BearcatNation loves it.
