Bearcats BlogCast: An Interview With Former Cincinnati Quarterback Jordan Luallen

facebooktwitterreddit

Tonight’s podcast is absolutely loaded. As always it was Scott King (@cardscott5) who writes for Bearcats Blog (@BearcatsBlog) and I discussing UC football and basketball.

Not only that, we had a special guest in the form of Jordan Luallen. The former UC quarterback/fullback/tight end/linebacker/wide receiver is a newly graduate Bearcat who was gracious enough to reminisce on his football days with us. We asked him loads of questions such as what it was like transitioning from Georgia Tech’s option offense to Cincinnati’s spread, if he would rather rush or pass for a touchdown, the infamous Syracuse trip, and which WWE wrestlers paired up best with Tuberville and the rest of the coaches.

You can listen to that segment below.

But Scott and I didn’t stop there. We also ran through our regular podcast tonight, discussing the following UC-laced topics.

  • Wrapping up Tulane and the prospects for the Bearcats going forward
  • Previewing the current logjam at the top of the AAC standings and who will emerge with the conference crown
  • A little college football playoff talk
  • Thoughts on UC basketball’s exhibition game against Bellarmine

You can listen to this portion in the media player below but, as always, feel free to subscribe to our podcast on iTunes. We’re also up on Stitcher. We’d love for you to rate and comment on it.
