College Football: Week 11 in the AAC

As your buddy Ben pointed out in his recent post last week was pure chaos in the AAC. His updated rankings show that also. Last week, I thought it was no was ECU loses to Temple and I was wrong, ECU outplayed Temple, but gave up the ball like it had Ebola on it. UConn beat UCF and if you have watched UConn at all this year nobody could’ve thought this was going to happen. UC make easy work of Tulane, which we all expected, but what we didn’t expect is for the Bearcats to be in a four way tie for the AAC crown after week 10 was over.

The Bearcats are off this week, as well as ECU as they both prepare for a huge meeting at Paul Brown Stadium in week 12.

Let’s see what the other AAC teams have in store this weekend.

Friday 11/7

Memphis @ Temple, ESPN U, 7:30 PM

Saturday 11/8

SMU @ Tulsa, CBS Sports Network, Noon

Connecticut @ Army, CBS Sports Network, 3:30 PM

Tulane @ Houston, ESPNU, 3:30 PM

The games I will be paying close attention to will be Memphis/Temple and Tulane/Houston. Bearcat fans need to root like no other for Temple and Tulane to win.  The Bearcats especially need Memphis to lose soon because they have already given the Bearcats a loss and with Houston still on the schedule if nobody can beat the Cougars, the Bearcats still have control to handle that situation. The AAC has spiced it up the last few weeks with surprising upsets, what will this week hold?

Let us know which games you will be paying attention to. I’m out until next week, PEACE!!
