College Football: Week 12 in the AAC

Last week, Tulane shocked Houston to make a wild AAC even wilder, don’t judge me in the use of wilder. With Houston losing last week it gives our Bearcats one less team they have to worry about in the AAC if they win out the rest of the season. From checking out #BearcatNation on twitter a lot of us hate the possibility of sharing the AAC title and with the Houston loss it gives us the possibility of one less to share with if they (Bearcats) handle their business.

Let’s check out the VERY important games in the AAC this week.

Thursday 11/13

East Carolina @ Cincinnati, ESPN 2, 7 PM

Friday 11/14

Tulsa @ UCF, ESPN 2, 8 PM

Saturday 11/15

Temple @ Penn State, ESPN 2, Noon

Memphis @ Tulane, ESPNU, 3:30 PM

South Florida @ SMU, CBS Sports Network, 8 PM

The game we all will be watching will be Thursday Night ECU/UC. This game will be our first true test since the defense has seemed to turn the corner and be solid. I’m personally pissed ECU loss a few weeks ago and we don’t get to play a ranked opponent, but we can’t cry over spilled milk right? Anyways, if the Bearcats can handle business Thursday, it will speak a thousand words in the AAC race.

The sneaky game to watch will be Saturday at 3:30 as Memphis and Tulane plays. Tulane just shocked Houston can they shock Memphis at home? I sure hope so it would give the Bearcats one less team they have to worry about during the home stretch. Being that Memphis beat UC earlier in the year, I think #BearcatNation as a whole will be Tulane fans on Saturday and that’s alright.

That’s it for week 12 and hopefully my week 13 report will be a happy report. Let us know what games you will be watching in the AAC this week. Until next week, PEACE!!
