Cincinnati Bearcats Game Against UConn Will Kickoff At 8 PM On CBS Sports Net

It was announced late last night that the Cincinnati Bearcats next football game against the UConn Huskies will kickoff at 8 pm EST on CBS Sports Net.

At 4-1 in the conference after a thrilling win over the East Carolina Pirates on Thursday, Cincinnati is rolling through the conference. The Bearcats’ season has been rejuvenated behind a newly aggressive defense and a rushing attack that’s averaged 232 yards per game during this winning streak.

Now UC travels to Storrs, Connecticut to face a Husky team that continues its multi-year slide to the conference cellar. Thankfully the SMU Mustangs will take that title this season but UConn isn’t in much better shape. The Huskies have won just two games on the season, one against FBS Stony Brook by a field goal and miraculously over Central Florida a few weeks ago. But a last second loss to the Army Black Knights last week, by way of a pick six, reaffirmed that the Bob Diaco rebuilding project is still a couple of years away from creating some semblance of pride in this program.

Even so, the Bearcats shouldn’t take this Husky team lightly as they are coming off a bye week and showed the capability to take down an AAC championship contender.
