College Football: Week 13 in the AAC

facebooktwitterreddit

Last week the Bearcats made a serious statement to the rest of the AAC as they won a thriller against ECU. I may be biased, but that was the game of the year so far in the AAC. The Bearcats keep pushing towards the top of the AAC, which is reflected in Ben’s new rankings.

The AAC is currently a three race between Memphis, Cincinnati and Central Florida. With the craziness that is the AAC next week we could have  less than three at the top, more than three or the same three in the running.

Let’s check out what games are happening in the AAC this weekend.

Saturday 11/22

SMU @ UCF, ESPNEWS, Noon

Tulsa @ Houston, ESPN 3, 3 PM

Tulane @ East Carolina, ESPN 3, 3:30 PM

South Florida @ Memphis, ESPNEWS, 4 PM

Cincinnati @ Connecticut, CBS Sports Network, 8 PM

The Bearcats are playing UConn in prime time so we all will have our eyes on that game. We don’t want our boys to have a hangover after such a big win. UCF is playing SMU so we already know what is going to happen during that game. This year just isn’t SMU’s year they are the NyQuil to the common cold if you know what I’m saying. The game all Bearcat fans need to keep tabs on this weekend is the South Florida/Memphis game, if our buddies down in Florida can knockoff Memphis on the road we would be very happy in Clifton. We’ve seen crazier things this year so I have hope do you?

What games will you be paying attention to in the AAC? Let us know in the comment box. I’m out until next week, PEACE!!
