Las Vegas Has Cincinnati With 100/1 Odds To Win 2016 National Championship

Bovada in the gambling capital of the world Las Vegas has released their National Championship odds for the 2015-16 basketball season and UC’s getting 100/1. I’d put down $20 on that.

Mick Cronin has arguably the most talented, deepest basketball team he’s ever had at his disposal this season. The Bearcats return every single starter and nearly every backup. The only player they lost to graduation was Jermaine Sanders. Back are guards Troy Caupain, Farad Cobb, and Kevin Johnson, lightning bug Shaq Thomas, and a front court loaded with talented in Gary Clark, Octavius Ellis, and Coreontae DeBerry.

Cincinnati boasts a top 20 defense falling out of bed and if the coaches can loosen up the reigns a bit on the offense, this team could be staring at a Final Four spot or even more.

Just for kicks, here’s what Bovada is giving other teams UC fans might be interested in:

  • Iowa State: 20/1
  • SMU: 66/1
  • Dayton: 100/1
  • Memphis: 200/1
  • VCU: 200/1
  • Xavier: 200/1
  • Temple: 300/1
  • George Washington: 500/1
  • Nebraska: 500/1
  • Tennessee: 500/1

Well it looks like Cincinnati’s going to steamroll the competition in the Barclays Center Classic.
