Happy Under Armour Day! Cincinnati’s First UA Shirt Revealed

It’s July 1st, meaning the Cincinnati Bearcats’ merchandise partnership with Adidas is official over and they’ve made the upgrade to Under Armour. The school’s official Twitter account revealed the first piece of swag that will surely hit stores soon.

UC signed a massive 10 year, $47 million deal with Under Armour back in April, a partnership that should benefit both parties handsomely. As for the fans, I think the first t-shirt pictured above depicts what UA brings to the table.

Instead of gaudy, over-the-top designs, Under Armour went with a sleeker, classic look. They incorporated the triangle pattern from the Linder Center, a staple of UC’s campus, into it while displaying the school’s colors. Personally I think the design looks nice and I’m excited to see more from them. And of course spend two month’s salary stocking up on new gear.
