ESPN Secretly Wants Cincinnati In A Power 5 Conference

Welcome to August, a month closer to the long awaited college football season and another month of conference realignment hoopla.

The latest of which comes directly from ESPN’s Stats & Info Twitter feed. It’s right from the unpaid intern who haplessly runs that account’s fingers, that Gunner Kiel, demi-godlike quarterback of the Cincinnati Bearcats, has one of the best touchdown-to-interception ratios among top signal callers in the Power 5 conferences.

Can this be true? Is this a suggestion that behind some closed doors in an ESPN board room several executives are gathered around a thousand-pound mahogany table to plot moving the Bearcats into a Power 5 conference? Are there really alien beings living among us? The answers are “yes”, “yes”, and “have you seen this guy?!”

If this isn’t definitive proof that the powers that been want UC out of the second class conference and into the Big 12 or ACC, I don’t know what is. Also, about the aliens thing, totes serious about that. You should read some of the things they’re saying on the Internet. And if you can’t trust what you see or read on the Internet, you can’t trust anything.
