Fourteen Student-Athletes Earn Diplomas
"The Bearcats student-athletes were among roughly 2,100 students graduating at the end of the summer session. The graduating class was composed nearly 50% of master’s degree recipients, while another 163 received doctoral degrees.The 14 student-athletes followed up a spring semester total of 58 graduates and another 13 during the fall 2014 semester, giving athletics a total of 85 graduates over the last year."

East Carolina adds ex-Gophers QB Philip Nelson as walk-on
"Coach Ruffin McNeill announced the addition of four walk-ons, including Nelson, after the Pirates held their first preseason practice Thursday night.Nelson was involved in a fight outside a nightclub in Mankato, Minnesota, in May 2014 in which a former Minnesota State player suffered a serious brain injury."
