UC Bearcats In The NFL: 2015 Preseason Week 2
By Chris Bains
The NFL preseason rolls along with several former Cincinnati Bearcats players seeing action over the weekend.
George Winn: The Lions faced the Redskins on Thursday night and the running back had three carries for ten yards.
John Hughes: Notched a tackle in the Cleveland Browns’ WTF 11-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Travis Kelce: The Kansas City tight end caught just one pass but it was a big one, a 23 yarder in the Chiefs’ win over the Seattle Seahawks. But perhaps his best moment came off the field.
Trent Cole: Now with the Colts, the defensive end snagged himself a pair of tackles.
Connor Barwin: The Eagles defensive end/outside linebacker piled up three tackles in Philly’s blowout of the Baltimore Ravens.
Kenbrell Thompkins: The Oakland wide receiver caught two passes on four targets for 14 yards in the Raiders’ loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Isaiah Pead: The Rams running back rushed for 11 yards on three carries and also had a catch that went for a negative yard against the Tennessee Titans.
Kevin Huber: The Bengals’ offense sputtered on Monday night and that’s about all they did. Huber did make the most of them, though, averaging 56 yards per punt.
