Scout’s Dave Berk dropped a nice little nugget following Cincinnati’s win over Alabama A&M last Saturday, that Bearcats head coach Tommy Tuberville is undefeated following his consumption of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
The only follow up question that I wish the media had pressed him on is whether he prefers chunky or smooth peanut butter. This is clearly something that has divides Cincinnati’s fanbase, nay AMERICA, as picking one over the other has been ingrained in us since childhood.
I could see UC’s head coach going either way.
On the one hand, Tuberville has a very silky smooth demeanor befitting of a man who likes his peanut butter as creamy as possible. On the other, he can get a little firey on the sidelines and has no patience for players who don’t fall in line. So maybe he like chunky.
It’s difficult to say and if I had the gall, I’d ask him myself at one of UC’s practices. But you know I don’t have it in me. So I pose the question to you; when he has a hankering for peanut butter and reaches for it on the shelf, does he go for the smooth or chunky version?
