UC Commit Jeremy Larkin Scored All Of The Touchdowns This Weekend

Cincinnati Bearcats verbal commitment Jeremy Larkin from La Salle High School is sort of good at this whole football thing. As a junior last season the Lancer he rushed for 2,584 yards and 38 touchdowns. Most quarterbacks at the high school level struggle to hit those marks and Larkin accomplished all of that with his legs.

Yesterday the stud running back put up more egregious numbers, this time against a completely over-matched Christian Brothers team. The #22 La Salle Lancers rolled their opponent from Tennessee 49-14. Jeremy Larkin was a big part, nay, basically the only part of that victory.

He not only scored six total touchdowns, one shy of the Lancers’ total, but accounted for a whopping 429-yards of all-purpose yards. Larkin rushed for 289 yards on just nine carries, averaging an insane 32 yards per carry, for four touchdowns and another three catches for 130 yards and two scores. He had touchdown runs of 76, 85, and 93 yards.

It’s safe to say that Jeremy Larkin playing the NCAA Football video game on freshman difficulty would struggle to hit those numbers.

I’m not sure where Eddie Gran intends to install Larkin in Cincinnati’s offense, be it running back, H-back, slot receiver, but it’s clear he has the skill to see the field as a true freshman beginning in the 2016 season. The high school game is simply too slow for the talented Lancer right now and he’s ready for the next level of competition. Larkin’s going to look great in red and black, regardless of his role on this team.

Here’s some highlights from Larkins huge game.
