UC QB Gunner Kiel Leaves Memphis Game After Vicious Helmet To Helmet Hit

Cincinnati is down 14-10 to the Memphis Tigers but, regardless of the outcome of this one, they may have lost more than just a mere football game.

Hayden Moore takes over at quarterback as Gunner Kiel is heading to a Memphis hospital. The good news is that ESPN sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung is noted that he did move his feet and toes, so at least for now there shouldn’t be many concerns about full paralysis. But it goes without saying that our thoughts and prayers go out to Kiel and his family. This injury transcends the game of football and we can only hope the young man is OK, that him being taken to a hospital is only precautionary.
