UC Bearcats In The NFL: 2015 Regular Season Week 6

The 2015 NFL season rolls along through week six as several former Cincinnati Bearcats players hit the field for yet another chance to do their university proud.

Travis Kelce: As the Chiefs’ season begins to spiral down the porcelain throne, they are still trying to get their offense going despite being 1-5 after this weekend. That especially includes getting their tight end Travis Kelce the football, which they at least accomplished this week. He was targeted seven times in the passing game, catching five of them for a team high 88 yards. It’s just a shame that he, like many of his teammates, couldn’t get into the endzone.

Kevin Huber: Cincinnati’s offense continues to hum through the 2015 season, unfortunately not giving former UC punter Kevin Huber many opportunities to show of his golden leg. Not to worry, though, he still had a very good game, downing all three of his punts within Buffalo’s 20-yard line. Huber also boomed a punt 52 yards. Just another day at the office, apparently.

Derek Wolfe: A quiet second game back for the Denver hybrid defensive tackle/defensive end, as he notched just a pair of tackles against the Browns.

John Hughes: Like his former linemate at UC, Hughes grabbed himself two tackles on Sunday.

Trent Cole: The former Philadelphia Eagle has struggled to see the field in this, his 11th NFL season. But he was able to against the New England Patriots, recording a tackle and knocking a pass down.

Connor Barwin: Just a single tackle this week for Philly but he did hit Eli Manning once.
