Let’s Watch Highlights (Or Lowlights) From Those Cringtastic Announcers Again

Yesterday the Cincinnati Bearcats drubbed the Bowling Green Falcons 83-50 with Farad Cobb putting up a team high 20 points yada yada yada, blah blah blah, that wasn’t the highlight from last night’s game. No, most of us were far too focused on the announcers, a pair of Bowling Green students who, by way of the MAC broadcasting contract with ESPN, called a real, live college basketball game.

They were just… so… cringtastic yet they simultaneously made it the greatest, most memorable broadcast in the history of UC basketball if not any sporting event ever. It was two full hours of mispronounced names and missed plays in between several hundred “uhh”s, “umm”s, and “err”s along with countless awkward pauses. It was simply glorious and in case you didn’t watch the game on ESPN3 or the WatchESPN app, here’s but a snippet of what you missed.
