UC Bearcats In The NFL: Regular Season Week 13

As teams with several former Cincinnati Bearcats on them are making the playoff push, the pressure is intensifying for several of them to put up peak performances to get into the postseason.

Kevin Huber: Ok, despite what’s written above, the Bengals’ punter didn’t really do a whole lot on Sunday. It wasn’t his fault, I mean, Cincinnati annihilated the Cleveland Browns 37-3. The offense was just so dominated that they didn’t need to utilize Kevin Huber’s services but in his single opportunity he booted that punt for a surprisingly lackluster 27 yards.

John Hughes: Recorded a tackle against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Derek Wolfe: Just another great game from the former UC defensive tackle. Wolfe finished 2nd on the Broncos in tackles with five and even recorded a hit on Phillip Rivers in a winning effort against the San Diego Chargers.

Ricardo Mathews: A pretty solid game out of the interior lineman saw him notch a trio of tackles, including a tackle for loss.

Travis Kelce: Despite Kansas City’s offensive explosion against the Oakland Raiders, Kelce had a pretty quiet game. He was only targeted three times by Alex Smith, catching both of them for 42 yards. He also fumbled the ball once. Eh, everybody has an off day.

Brent Celek: While he was targeted three less times in Philly’s passing game than Zach Ertz, Celek made more of his lone opportunity, catching it for 16 yards.

Connor Barwin: The Eagles had a field day defensively against the prolific Patriots offense and the hybrid defensive end/linebacker was a big part of that. Barwin finished 3rd on the team in tackles and sacked Tom Brady twice, which is a feat I think we all can celebrate.

Trent Cole: A quiet Sunday night from Cole, who recorded a single tackle against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
