Wide receiver/cornerback Bryce Beard has officially signed with the Cincinnati Bearcats for their 2016 recruiting class on National Signing Day, joining his brother Brayden at UC.

OUTLOOK
Like his brother, a redshirt and time on the practice squad is probably in Bryce’s immediate future. This has more to do with the amount of returning players in Cincinnati’s secondary than anything. The same goes, although to a lesser extent, with the receivers. There’s just not enough reps to go around. But not to worry, if Beard’s forty time is anywhere close to what is listed (4.32), he should find a home in the slot or at safety sometime over the course of his UC career. Heck, he might even find himself lining up across from Brayden at that point. Wouldn’t that be a nice little story?
