Bearcats football releases full depth chart

Check out page 10 of the game release here.

I mentioned in an earlier post about some of the major updates, like Blake Annen overtaking Adrien Robinson for the #1 tight end spot, but below are a few other thoughts about the depth chart heading into Austin Peay:

  • Robb Trigg is backing up Dan Giordano at defensive end – I fully thought this would be won by Monte Taylor
  • Kevin Schloemer isn’t anywhere on the 2-deep – He must be still recovering from his knee injury
  • Dyjuan Lewis is also not on the 2-deep – He may be rustier than we hoped but it looks like Alex Chisum and Shaq Washington should see playing time during the Austin Peay game
  • D.J. Woods may get some time in the slot but right now he’s lining up directly across from Kenbrell Thompkins on the outside
  • Munchie’s QB-2
  • Both starting safties, who did little to instill confidence in me last fall, have retained their starting spots
  • Adrian Witty is now backing up Cam Cheatham at the 2nd corner position
  • D.J. Woods/Isaiah Pead on punt returns – I hope the latter wins the job. No offense, D.J.
