Opening Statement
- The defense is playing very physically and opportunistic. That’s a huge upgrade from last year.
- Pass rush play is up. That’s the only way for Cincinnati to do well against the pass.
- Mike Glennon = Tyler Bray. UC REALLY needs to get to him on Thursday.
- NC State has a great receiver/returner in T.J. Graham that could be a menace

- Glennon is not Russell Wilson. That isn’t a bad thing. He’s a really good quarterback.
- Love NC State’s depth. They’ve had some injuries this season. But the backups should step up on Thursday.
- UC needs to dictate the tempo on offense and execute to not allow NC State’s defense to take over.
- Isaiah Pead better stretch those legs because he’s going to get a lot of reps Thursday night.
- Totally got chills when he talked about Cincinnati’s product and what it means to recruiting and the perception of the university nationally.
- Butch is totally getting pissed at the “Where will UC land in the realignment world” questions.
- Zach may not be putting up the numbers but he’s managing the team well and hasn’t thrown a pick. I’d take that over 400 yard, 3 interception games.
- A short week is tough for football teams, but playing the starters in only the first half of the Akron game kept them fresh.
