What I liked
- The D-Line is dominating against the run.
- They’re winning? That’s something right?
- They threw across the middle. To a tight end. And it went for a touchdown! Go figure!
- The defense is pitching a shutout.
What made me want to stick my finger in the back of my throat
- 6 points. Yea from this offense that’s deplorable.
- Two turnovers and none forced on defense.
- Missed tackles among the linebackers and secondary.
- Dropsies by McClung and Woods.
- Offensive line is flat, allowing defenders to get to Zach and Pead easily.
- Miliano missed an extra point.
What to look for in the 2nd Half
- Basically correct everything from the list above – fundamental tackling, catching the ball into their hands, the O-Line being sound in their blocking assignments.
- Get the running game going.
- Miami’s front four are dominating Cincinnati’s offensive line. There needs to be a role reversal to ensure the Bearcats’ success.
