Replacing Bishop is no easy task

Cincinnati’s basketball team should have more firepower next season. The big question will be how they replace the stellar defensive play out of guys like Rashad Bishop. The Bearcats were the #1 ranked scoring defense in the Big East last season but it’ll be a tough task to repeat that feat. It’ll be interesting to see if the Bearcats give up say, 10 points per game more than they did last year if they can make those 10 points up with more offense this season.

Cincinnati Bearcats Offense Plague By Slow Starts

I’ve seen it. You’ve seen it. And Matt and Down the Drive finally broke it down statistically to show how the Bearcats are just putrid out the gates on offense. The fact is that Cincinnati has been a 2nd half team for the past two games which is unusual for a team that has proclaimed itself to be explosive. One positive is that it appears the coaching staff is making the necessary halftime adjustments to get the offense going in the 2nd half.
