UC Gets Their Man: Missouri’s Whit Babcock Named AD

It was reported earlier this morning that Missouri’s assistant athletic director Whit Babcock has replaced Mike Thomas as the University of Cincinnati’s athletic director. In as few words as possible, I. Love. This. Hire. I’ll get into more details later but here’s some of the things Babcock will bring to Cincinnati:
- Big school experience from a program that understands how to own it’s market
- Is a fundraising guru
- Knows how to generate interest in athletic programs
- Young and charismatic, will connect well with the community
