When UC beat South Florida last Saturday and climbed into the rankings, it was unclear as the Bearcats rolled into their last bye week of the season if we would still be able to see that coveted number next to ‘Cincinnati’ next Saturday at Pitt. Well the week 10 numbers have been released and the Bearcats actually rose by one spot in both the USA Today and AP polls. Cincinnati is now 22nd in the USA Today poll and 23rd in the AP poll. Even more exciting is that UC is just outside the top-25 in the BCS rankings, coming in at 26th. It’s great that Coach Jones’ hard work is finally paying off on a national scale as these are well-deserved accolades.
