Cincinnati plays underdog role again
Most fans will wonder why a team like the Bearcats with 3 conference championships in the last 4 years in their possession doesn’t get more love on a national scale. Primarily it’s because of coaching turnover. If Butch Jones stays with Cincinnati for the long-haul (i.e. more than 3 years), the Bearcats will get more recognition from coaches and writers around the country.

I don’t get the animosity towards switching up UC’s football uniforms every now and then, and people have been complaining about the new helmets/cleats for the Liberty Bowl since they came out. There are of course those that appreciate the change (like me) and see it for what it is: UC football establishing a recognizable brand and making it ‘the cool thing’ among the country’s youth. This is anything but a bad thing for Bearcats football.
