I mean, why not, right? The Bearcats only played one game this week but that’s all Killa needed to put on a show. He scored a career-high 27 points shooting 63% from the field and draining three of the Bearcats’ four buckets from beyond the arc against Georgetown. Not surprisingly he was on the court for almost the entire game (37 min) as the only UC player who was doing much of anything with the ball in his hands. At one point in the game Kilpatrick had tallied over half of Cincinnati’s points and was even the only player to be in double-digits. He carried the team for most of the night along with Dion Dixon who came on late. Outside of Kilpatrick and Dixon, the Bearcats shot 26%. So yea, I’d say Killa deserves the Bearcat of the Week award.
