I See Your Black Matte Helmets, And Raise You Red Matte Helmets

Just a prototype right now but at this point last year UC was experimenting with black matte helmets. But rumors of these helmets emerged shortly before the Ring of Red game against West Virginia last season. Instead, UC rolled out red jerseys head-to-toe. I must say, I was extremely impressed by how the uni-combo turned out. Will we see these helmets in next year’s Ring of Red game? It’s too early to tell but if I had a vote I’d 100% put it in favor of seeing these at some point in the 2012 season.
