The craziness that is National Signing Day has already begun as Dennis Norfleet has dropped Cincinnati for the homestate Michigan Wolverines. He had been flirting with both UM and Michigan State since he verbaled to Cincinnati a few months ago. As I mentioned he was the ‘softest’ of the commitments at the time but it seemed like as time went on he was becoming more fond of the idea of joining the red and black. The main knock on him was his size as a running back in the Big Ten. At 5’8″ < 200 lbs, he isn’t exactly the semi-trucks that the Big Ten was used to. But as his recruitment progressed he became inclined to the idea of playing cornerback. Without a doubt this caught UM and MSU’s attention and they regaining interest in him. That is likely where he wind up with the Wolverines and could grow into a star. Despite his decommitment there is no need to be discouraged. UC’s class of 2012 is still on pace to be the best in school history.

Good luck, Dennis.
