The Kenneth Bynum saga is about to come to an end. He will decide between Cincinnati and Tennessee today at 5 PM. It’s been over two weeks since Bynum opted to wait on signing his Letter of Intent to see what the Vols had to offer. So where does Cincinnati stand? Well I’d say they are in a pretty good position. Of course I was nervous when Tennessee tried to lure Bynum away in the 11th hour but the longer he has waited to sign since his visit on the weekend of February 4th, the more encouraged I am that UC will get his John Hancock. If Bynum was blown away in Knoxville (pun may or may not be intended, that’s up to you), chances are he would have signed with UT immediately. But the fact that he waited a week and a half since that visit makes me think that he is still seriously considering the Bearcats. Plus this tweet from UC Wide Receiver Anthony McClung is encouraging.

Really, you just never know what is going to happen when the hats are laid out in front of a recruit. At this point he could sign with Cincinnati or Tennessee and neither would be a shocker to me. But right now it appears like the Bearcats are favored to sign him.
