Disappointing news this Wednesday afternoon as Keith Niebuhr now at 247 Sports has reported that offensive tackle prospect Eason Fromayan has switched his verbal commitment from the Cincinnati Bearcats to the TCU Horned Frogs:

That certainly hurts UC’s 2013 recruiting class as he was one of the Bearcats’ top targets at right tackle. As I wrote in his original commitment post, Fromayan brings a heck of a name and a huge body with him to the list of 2013 OL recruits. He actually looks skinny compared to his listed playing weight which bodes well for his development at the next level. That’s one of the characteristics of this prospect that got many of us excited when he committed. But almost as soon as Fromayan cast his lot with the Bearcats did TCU send him a scholarship offer. And it sounds like today he has accepted that offer.
Now for Cincinnati it looks like Jones and co. will have to focus on signing another offensive tackle this Fall.
