Bearcats in the NFL: Week 7

The Philadelphia Eagles were on a bye so obviously a light list of Bearcats in the NFL updates.

Haruki Nakamura: Picked up a pair of tackles including one that went behind the line of scrimmage in a tough loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

John Hughes: Three tackles including a tackle for loss for the Browns in their loss to the Colts.

Ricardo Mathews: Notched a tackle in Indy’s win over Cleveland.

Isaiah Pead: Saw a bit more playing time in various rolls for the St. Louis Rams. Gained a yard on the ground on one carry and also returned a kickoff for 32 yards.

Connor Barwin: Had an absolute field day against Joe Flacco. Barwin sacked him once and it was in the endzone so the Texans picked up two points off the safety. In total the big OLB/DE hit Flacco four times. He also knocked down a pass, had four total tackles, and three tackles for loss. He was clearly upset over the Bearcats’ loss on Saturday night.

Kevin Huber: Got quite a bit of work with the Bengals’ offense stalled most of the day. Booted six kicks averging 51.8 yards per punt placing one inside the twenty.
