Cincinnati 93, North Carolina A&T 39: Bearcats Roll Behind Monster Game From Kilpatrick

Another cupcake opponent, another romping by the Cincinnati Bearcats. The competition is far inferior to UC but it’s clear this offense is clicking on all cylinders right now. They really did pretty much all they wanted to all afternoon shooting over 50% from the field, including almost 43% from beyond the arc, and blocking 13 shots. Center David Nyarsuk contributed 5 of those. Clearly his gargantuan frame is going to be hell on opposing offenses in the paint.

But the star today was Sean Kilpatrick. The junior got the scoring off on the right foot with a made three pointer a couple of minutes into the game. As he started getting into a rhythm he was knocking down shots in such a frenzy that he was outscoring the entire North Carolina A&T offense. Killa finished with 29 points shooting 75% from three and 66% overall from the field. He led the way to another blowout win for the Bearcats that allowed Mick to work in his less experienced players in early in the 2nd half. That’s really all you could have asked for from Cincinnati today.
