Some exciting news this morning on the Mark Barr front. The young Bearcat was involved in the car accident in late-September that claimed the life of freshman offensive lineman Ben Flick and one other. While Barr survived, both he and Javon Harrison were sent immediately to the hospital. It was a heart wrenching string of events to say the least. Thankfully, Harrison was released just a couple of days later but Barr, as he was in critical condition after the accident, had to stay in the hospital for another month before he was cleared.

But it didn’t end there. Barr was forced to undergo rehab which included facial reconstructive surgery. I can’t even begin to imagine what that’s like. Overall it’s been an arduous process than no one should go through and especially not a person as young as Barr. But the good news this morning is that Barr appears to have returned to campus where he can begin to get his life back to normal.

Touching photo.

But wait there’s more…
